Very Good Condition 3-Rail
This Hornby Dublo Bristol Castle comes in its original box and is complete with instruction booklet for the Bristol Castle and a supplementary information sheet. The box shows wear due to tape damage to the front but is otherwise in very good condition and it has a collectable repair ticket to one end. The loco runs very well forwards and backwards.

This 8-F number 48158 is in superb cosmetic condition as shown in the images. I would suggest it has hardly been run since manufacture so could do with a service after all these years. It runs ok in both forward and in reverse albeit a little slow - a service would sort that out. The original box is in excellent condition other than one tape mark.

This superb example of "Mallard" is in fantastic condition as shown in the images. It has had a service in the last 12 months but has been sparingly run since. It runs well forwards and in reverse. The original box is the dark blue without the image to the top. The box is also in superb condition and has good loco box stickers to each end.

Excellent Condition 3-Rail
This 8-F number 48094 is in superb condition as shown in the images and is the much rarer and highly sought after locomotive only produced in much smaller quantities. I would suggest it has hardly sparingly run since manufacture. The tender does seem to have a small white mark about 1/4 inch along where it looks like the paint may not have adhered. Just thought it best to point this out. It has had a service but like all locos could probably do with another. It runs well both forward and in reverse. The original box is in superb condition other than a tape mark across the top and a mark to the side where tape strip has been removed.

The item is boxed and comes with an instruction booklet for the Ludlow Castle but the box is a Tony Cooper reproduction box - almost, if not, an exact copy or the original. If you couldnt see his small trademark name on the box you would assume its an original - indeed his boxes are very collectable in their own right.
